I am Avin Agrawal, a second-generation entrepreneur trying to make a difference in the FMCG space.
About Me
Introductions can often be clumsy, filled with unneeded peans. But I will try to keep mine short and sweet, because economy of thought is something that is always preferable.
So, I am Avin Agrawal, the director of Hadiram’s, and someone who is trying to anchor a disruptive growth trajectory in the hyper-competitive snackable and food FMCG space.
As a third-generation entrepreneur, I have had the privilege of working with both my father and grandfather, and the one thing that I have tried to learn from them is the need to respect others and build relationships. In a way, they have defined my perspective: that growth is nothing without people.
For me, nothing can be truly perfect; all one can do is learn from your mistakes and try to enhance and improve every day. I also firmly believe that collaboration and teamwork always lead to good things.
Besides work, my other interests in life include Bollywood and cricket. I am not overtly spiritual; all I believe is that one can always try to be just and reasonable in what they do.
Values That Truly Matters
To me, life is full of lessons that one can’t truly ignore. Every experience, achievement, failure, or challenge is an opportunity to discover new pathways and explore facets of your character that you probably were not inclined too before. My extensive professional experience has taught me a few values that I think one can imbibe.
Understanding
Open-mindedness and having the sensibility to appreciate and empathize with the point of view of others always work in the long run.
Commitment
You should be committed to what you want to achieve; half-measures don’t really work in real life.
Teamwork
It is always better to be a team player and work with consensus rather than force your will upon others.
